“Vishnuvardhan” Cup Cricket Tournament starts today amidst huge expectations. This year is the special year for this tournament as it is the 15th year.
Vishnu Dada was an ardent cricket fan and his team Sneha Loka was also popular. After the death of Vishnu, the tournament’s name has been changed to Vishnuvardhan Cup.
16 teams play in this tournament. This year, the actors’ team wouldn’t take part in the tournament. The matches start today and every Sunday, matches will be held.
The semi-finals will be held from March 26th to April 2nd and the finals will take place on 9th April.
The trophy is one among the biggest trophies and it is said to be 6ft tall.
