And now there is a problem with the movie; a petition is filed by a person in the Madras High Court seeking a temporary ban on the release of the film. 
Well, what is the reason for the seeking of the ban? The film is apparently filled with false information. According to the petitioner Paneerselvi, who hails from a village in Salem, she claims that the film has shown the Tamils in a poor light, especially women. She also added that this movie glorifies Karnataka police alone for taking measures to put a full stop for the wrongdoings of the smuggler. Moreover, she said that the film showed that the wife of Veerappan has claimed the lives of many people, which is wrong.
