Kannada Film Festival In Chennai!

Kannada film Festival will commence from 28th July and concludes in 31st July. Do you know the venue? Here it is… For the first time in the film history, Kannada Film Festival will be hosted in Chennai. Chairman of Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy, SV Rajendra Babu said, "In order to promote Kannada films throughout India, we have organized the film festival in non Kannada states. When we had it in Delhi, we got a great response. Earlier, Kannada films were released in more than 60 places in Tamilnadu. As they were unable to get the print cost, we discontinued it. But now, many people outside Karnataka want to watch our Kannada films. To promote our films as per the demand, we thought to host a Kannada film festival in Chennai." He also said that they have chosen twelve films to be premiered in the festival including, “RangiTaranga,” “Shivalinga,” “Mr & Mrs Ramachari,” “Thithi,” “U Turn” and “Karrva.” During the inaugural event, Suhasini Maniratnam was also present.
