Abhishek is the son of veteran actor Ambarish. He was to do the movie Amar which happens to be his debut into Kannada cinema. Director Chethan, who directed movies as Bahaddur and Bharjari, had intentions to direct a movie starring Abhishek. But, in a negative development, it is doubtful as to whether Chethan will go into the direction of the movie. In a previous development, Pavan Wodeyar was intended to direct the movie starring Abhishek. There was a clash of dates and due to that Pavan had to exit from the venture. In the next development, Chethan was chosen as the director. Now, it seems Chethan also would have to walk out of the venture.
