.” She has played Radhika’s mother in the film and the film is expected to hit the theatres on 30th September. It is heard that Bharathi has been committed doing a film in Tulu. She was last seen in Mangalore in 1966 to shoot Love In Bangalore. In her five decades old career, the actress will be doing her first Tulu film in 2016. The film is titled as Amber Caterers and she will be playing the matriarch of a family. When asked about her Tulu debut, the actress says, "During the Bangalore International Film Festival, I got an opportunity to watch Tulu films, as I was on the jury. I was very much impressed with the quality and themes of the Tulu films. So, when I was approached to do a film, I felt lucky to be part of it. Moreover, my husband “Vishnuvardhan” loved Mangalore. Vishnu has shot many films and had always appreciated the people for their warmth and hospitality. Shooting in the coastal city will help me revive all our memories.”
