The actor was a part of the India Today conclave, where he opened up on various issues, including Karan Johar’s comments.

Saif Ali Khan acknowledged that there is the issue of overpricing in terms of actor’s fees. However, in a polite but firm response, he said that not everyone charges like what Karan Johar talked about. He even maintained that this concept of overpricing can’t last forever, because it will damage their own reputation.

Saif Ali Khan revealed his own experience, citing his father’s advice on financial independence, which he follows till day. According to him, until and unless the producers themselves don’t draw the line and stop succumbing to every demand, this trend will continue.
