Shriya Saran
has been committed doing a remake subject with
Nana Patekar
in “Tadka.”
Prakash Raj
directs this movie and makes his entry in Bollywood as a director. When asked about her pairing with Nana, Shriya says, "An actor like him brings a lot to the table. I am a big fan of Nana and I recently watched his Marathi film Natsamrat, in which he was par excellence. Working with him is going to be a challenge and scary because he is so good that he hogs all the attention when you share a frame with him." When asked about Prakash, she says, "I've known Prakash closely, as we've done films in Tamil and Telugu. He's been a fantastic co-star and friend. He's so talented as an actor with so many layers, which makes it easy for one to react to him. I'm really looking forward to working with him as a director." Tadka is the remake of the Malayalam hit “Salt and Pepper,” which is remade in Kannada as “
Oggarane
” and in Tamil as “Un Samayalarayil.”
