Several trade analysts say ‘Operation Valentine’ has failed to strike a chord with the masses. After five days, this film has collected only 7 crores from the Indian box office [including both the Hindi and the Telugu versions].

Shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi, the film was to release on 8 December. However, multiple delays forced the film to postpone the release to 1 March.

This film had a budget of nearly Rs. 50 crores. However, with a domestic collection of only seven crores, this film is a disaster for the exhibitors. Probably Varun Tej was not as lucky as Adivi Sesh, who left a solid impact with the 2022 movie 'Major' [based on Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan].
