The historical movie is about King Prithviraj Chauhan and Akshay Kumar plays the titular role and Manushi will be seen playing Sanyogita. The director stated that when they were auditioning for the female lead, they were not satisfied and finally they found out Manushi, who has some magnetic personality. The director also stated that they auditioned her before signing the project.

The movie will be produced by Yash Raj Films. Manushi stated that this is her dream come true moment and it would be a fairy tale for her. The movie is launched today with pooja and Akshay Kumar posted the video and captioned it as, “Here's to auspicious beginnings Stepping into the world of #Prithviraj. In theatres #Diwali2020!
