When we contacted him regarding this, Nawaz stated that he has not been approached by anyone, to play the biopic of the legend Dr. APJ. However, he would like to portray the great personality, if he is offered. Nawaz has been showing interest in playing the real life characters like Dashrat Manjhi’s role in “Manjhi – The Mountain Man.” Manjhi laid a long path as a road to ease the travelers. He started to dig the path, after the death of his wife, who died on the way to the hospital. As the path was not travelable, she couldn’t reach the hospital in time. A similar thing has happened in Maharashtra. When a lady was not allowed to access the water in the public well, her husband dug 40-feet well for her. Nawaz has an idea to make this concept. His upcoming film “Raman Raghav 2.0” will be premiered at Cannes.
