He opened up about the growing distrust between filmmakers and why they don’t seek validation from the reviewers, except for a few genuine ones.

Kashyap almost echoed the sentiments of maverick filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who is well known for his tussle with the critics. When Anupama Chopra questioned him about the ‘excessive violence’ in Kabir Singh, Vanga revealed that the critics haven’t seen violence yet. He went on to prove his point in the action drama ANIMAL, which went on to become one of the highest grossing Indian films of 2023 despite severe criticism from the critics.
