The actor will now be seen more on the OTT than in the theatre. His next project is Costao, which is a political thriller directed by Sejal Shah.

Set in the 90s, the movie is based on Costao Fernandes, a customs officer who had busted a gold smuggling racket in Goa, though the journey was far from being a cakewalk. The movie will be premiering on the OTT platform Zee5 within 2025. 

Once the talk of the town, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is currently struggling to regain his lost position in Bollywood. The actor hasn’t seen a single commercial success since 2017, when he starred in MOM, which had Sridevi in the lead role.
