I Will Be Doing Commercial Movies, But Only If I Am In Need Of Money- Manoj Bajpayee
The actor who has been getting flooded with compliments for his upcoming film Traffic has said that he is not interested in trying out the Commercial Films. He clarifies that there is no disliking towards that particular category of films, but he feels that Commercial Films don’t need him at all. Those films are required in the industry because the country has got all sorts of audience, and also those films entertain the people and brighten them up. But, he feels that the category holds a lot of talented actors who do it better than him. He agrees that he does get offers, but the number is close to negligible when compared to the non-commercial ones. The actor who has done popular films like Pinjar, Shool, Veer Zaara, Rajneeti, Ganga of Wasseypur recently received the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his film Aligarh. Bajpayee’s next film Traffic, the Hindi remake of Rajesh Pillai’s hit Malayalam film of the same name, stars Prosenjit Chatterjee, Jimmy Shergil, Parambrata Chatterjee, and Divya Dutta and is set to release on May 6.
