and the witness in the hit-and-run case in year 2002, where Salman was convicted last May 2015.
The claims for an investigation by the state government were made in PIL or Public Interest Litigation. It was filed in the Bombay High Court last Thursday.
Hemant Patil, the petitioner, asserted that a legal action must be served to Salman Khan, who apparently forced the witness not to state the facts about the accident. According to R. N. Kachace, lawyer of Hemant Patil, the hearing for the petition is probably sometime next week. Hemant also claimed that Salman and some unidentified people uses unwarranted influence to the late Ravindra Patil.
There are also some attempts made to stop the bodyguard from stating factual statements about the accident. According to reports, the lawyer stated that Ravindra had disappeared and later, he was found dead and this needs to be probed.
