. The movie features Diljit in the role of an enticing Punjabi superhero. Super Singh is touted to be among the first ever Punjabi superhero movies. It happens that Diljit and Balaji Motion Pictures are coming together after the success of the movie Udta Punjab.
Diljit said in a statement that it had been a wonderful journey with Balaji and the movie Super Singh makes it more unique. Anurag said that the shooting was finished much ahead of time as the entire team worked like a family. Shooting a superhero movie and that also with Diljit, there were a lot of nuances we had to get right and also the schedule was tight. The entire team came together like a family and managed to complete the movie ahead of schedule.
