After surprisingly good returns in March, Bollywood is all set for another important ‘test’.
The month of April will see whether Bollywood is eager to regain the lost ground or not. While ‘Shaitaan’ has earned the right to be a certified blockbuster, expectations will be super high in April.
Despite cluttered releases, at least three Hindi films earned the right to be a commercial success. While ‘Laapataa Ladies’ may not have earned as much as ‘Shaitaan’ or ‘Article 370’, the film still earned more than 15 crores over a budget of only 4 to 5 crores, making it a CLEAN HIT. It would be interesting to see who among ‘Madgaon Express’ and ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’ manages to earn the same.
However, the festival of Eid will bring forth a big clash. While Diljit Dosanjh is not openly facing them on the silver screen, he will still try to influence a significant section of the audience with his upcoming venture ‘ Amar Singh Chamkila Bio coming soon... >> Read More... ’, based on the Punjabi folk legend of the same line, which will be released on Netflix on 12 April, only two days after the release of ‘Maidaan’ and ‘Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan’.
