Born on January 18, Kiran Kanth comes from a well-educated family in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. Kiran completed his schooling from Vishwa Bharathi High School and later joined K L University in Vijayawada for his Bachelor’s degree. Hailing from a simple background, Kiran always aspired to be an actor. So, he took up a six-month acting course to hone his acting skills.

Kiran Kanth started his career by doing short films during his college days. He did several short films including, Khilladi, Naa Manasu Naadi Kaadu, Sattha, Ye Vaipuga Dagunnado, Premala Sita Tho Sriram, and more. His performance in the short films landed him his first movie offer. Kiran Kanth made his Tollywood debut as the main lead with the film Sailu, which was set in the backdrop of 1970.
