raghava whose original name is “Raghava gogineni” is a Telugu actor well known in both television and Telugu Cinema.

He was born in Tenali in Andhra Pradesh and educated up to 10th standard. His was married to Mythreyi and the couple has two children named Mounica and Rudraksh. He presently lives in Hyderabad.

He started his acting career in 1988 playing lead role in the movie ‘Maharshi’. After the movie name itself people started calling him as Maharshi ragahva. He acted in merely about 170 films. Chitram balare vichitram, Chanti, Gang leader, Yamapasam, Nyayamkosam, Nava bharatam, Jambalakadi pamba. All the above movies are trade mark hits in film history. Beside from Telugu he is familiar with Tamil and Hindi also. But presently he is very much less associated with the on screen activities.

Maharshi raghava acted in famous Telugu Television serials like Endamavulu and Ananthapuram in Etv and Aaradhana in Gemini TV. Though he acted in few serials he got good marks for his acting in all of them, the serials which he acted are memorised by Telugu TV audience till now. Endamavulu is one of the legendary serials in the history of Telugu Television screen, Maharshi raghava casted a prominent role in that serial.

He also played a famous role in a play called "GANDHI JAYANTHI", he was characterised as Mahatma Gandhi.

He was also awarded with two state level awards by government of Andhra Pradesh in area of television serials: Nandi Award for Best Actor (Television) – 1997, Nandi Award for Best Actor in Negative Role (Television) – 1998.He was also invited to USA in 2003, 2005, 2007 to participate in cultural events organised by TANA (Telugu Association of North America) along with many other famous and prominent personalities from Andhra Pradesh.
