Prathima Sasidhar is a famous Indian vocalist known mainly known for singing Telugu songs. She was born and raised in Anantapur until she left for Tirupati to learn music. Prathima lost her family at a very young age in a train accident and got married. She continued her passion for singing after marriage and learned from Dr. Neeta Chandrasekhar, a professor at the Telugu University. In 2002, Prathima Sasidhar started her music and dance school, Saraswati Sangeeta’ and ‘Nritya Sikshanalaya’ at Mehdipatnam. She had performed at several events under her academy.
The renowned album by Prathima was Sripathiki Saranu, recorded under the label of T-series. The album has several Telugu songs, which became very popular and has released in 2013. Itti Mudduladi, Kommalu Choodare, Poojalan Chesede, Arasi Nannu, Thalacharo Janulu, Deva Devudekkenade, Yennado Vignana, and Nee Naamame Maaku are the hit songs from the album by Prathima Sasidhar.
