Swapna Dutt

Swapna Dutt was born on 30th August 1981 in Vijaywada, Andhra Pradesh. She is the daughter of Ashwini Dutt Chalasani, who is a prominent Tollywood producer and the founder of Vyjayanthi Movies. Swapna began her producer career from a very early age of 18; she was the associate producer for the movie Azad in 2000.Soon after her first project, she started working with her family, and later along with her sister Priyanka, they revived Swapna Cinema in the year 2014.

She holds an MBA degree from one of the well-known University, i.e., Ohio University. After pursuing her MBA, she founded Vyjayanthi Tele ventures Private Limited, which was well appreciated by the Tollywood, and shortly, it changed the face of the industry by producing consecutive different programs in the Telugu industry. Her work was also recognized by then Chief Minister of the state, Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy, as then CM launched the Local TV- which was the small screen venture of Vyjayanthi Televentures Private limited, this was also appreciated by the Tollywood superstar Dr. Akkineni Nageswara Rao.

Swapna is a perfect example of how one should manage his/her personal as well as professional life. Her notable movies were Mahanati(2018), Yevade Subramanyam(2015) ,and her first movie as a producer was Subhash Chandra Bose(2005). Her movie Mahanati won National Film Award for a best feature film in Telugu; the movie also won many other awards such as best director, best actress and many more. Last but not least, she also produced many TV shows on various channels such as ETV Telugu, Zee Telugu and, Maa TV.
