Katragadda Murai is a film producer, who has produced Telugu movies. He was born on 14th June, 1944 in Vijayawada, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh, India. Currently, he resides in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Murari was so much interested in the film industry that he moved to Madras.
He began his career as an assistant director and then became a producer and produced many Telugu films under his production house Yuva Chitra Arts. His movies are known for outstanding music. The music in his movies was composed by K.V. Mahadevan.

He said that he is healthy and alive because he did not produce a film with Chiranjeevi. He also criticized Chakravarti and Raghavendra Rao. Murari said that Chakravarti doesn’t have any knowledge of music. He criticized many other popular faces which created quite a buzz in the film industry but Murari was always straightforward, and he said and did what he always wanted to.
He has produced movies with other great actors and has achieved great success. He always thought of being a part of the film industry, and he achieved. Murari’s leaving the M.B.B.S. in the final year was a good decision for his life as he got the opportunity in working into the films. If he hadn’t left, then he would be a doctor now, but he chased his dreams and got what he always wanted. He has produced amazing films.
