Bhamidipati Ramakrishna was an Indian playwright and scriptwriter who worked predominantly in the Telugu industry. He was the son of Hasya Brahma Bhamidipati Kameswara Rao and was born on 14 November 1929. He has written some plays and playlets. His play ‘Taram-Antaram’ was staged at the World Telugu Conference, in Bangalore. He has written stories for over 150 Telugu films, including Brahmachari, Kathanayakudu, Vichitra Kutumbam, Palletoori Bava, Govula Gopanna, Nari Nari Naduma Murari, and many more.
Some of his filmographies include Aatma Gowravam, Thalli Prema, Rangeli Raja, Samsaram, and College Bullodu. His literary works include Bhajantreelu (play), Danta Vedantam (play), Keerti Seshulu (play), and Manasthathwalu (play). Bhamidipati died on 4 September 2007, at 77, in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh.
