Jenny Honey is an Indian Model and Actress. She predominantly features in Telugu and Tamil movies. Jenny has previously worked in many short films before entering the film industry. Jenny Honey was born on 5th October in Vizag, Andhra Pradesh. Her birth name was Shruti Varma. She was very passionate about films from a very young age. Jenny learned dancing from childhood. After completion of her studies, she started to audition for modeling roles. Jenny participated in many modeling events. She won Miss Fresh Face of Vizag in 2011. Eventually, Jenny bagged the award of Miss Vizag in the following year.

She was also keen on acting that is why she used to improvise her acting skills herself. Mesmerized by her beauty and freshness many short film directors approached her. She at first featured in Misunderstandings and Premalo Anukonda. Her beauty, expression, and performance caught the attention of many viewers as well as producers. After that, more offers started to come. Jenny then appeared in Love Logic Less, A Lovely Hour, Girls, Inketi and Saraga. The audience praised her versatility, and she became a popular figure among Telugu Youth. However, her best short film to the date was ‘It’s A Girl Issue.’ Her role as a next-door girl won over the critics.

In the meantime, Jenny also featured in various video songs and uploaded it on YouTube. Some of the popular video songs were Anu Anuvantha and Premionchaane. Jenny also held the credits for direction, editing and photography of those videos. Jenny then got the break and featured in 45 minute-long Short movie Prayanam (Journey) (2015). The independent film earned critical acclaim for its unorthodox subject and direction. Jenny also hogged the limelight for her performance. After this, she landed a role in her first feature film Meeku Mere Maku Meme (2016). The romantic-comedy released in June 2016 to mixed reviews.

However, it faced lukewarm response at the Box-office. The film starred Tarun Shetty, Avantika Mishra and Keerity Damaraju along with Jenny Honey. Critics criticised Jenny’s role with some calling it ‘non-existent’ and ‘forced.’ Dejected at first, Jenny took some time off and focused on modeling for rest of the year. After much struggle, Jenny bagged a role in upcoming 2017 Telugu Romantic Action Thriller Shamantakamani. The film features Nara Rohit and Sudheer Babu in lead roles. Jenny Honey is working alongside Chandini Chowdhury and Ananya Soni in this movie.
