Archana Shastry

Archana Veda was born on October 8, 1981 in Hyderabad. Her original name was Veda Sastry but just after first movie she changed her name to Archana Veda. She is very well known for her quality work in Telugu film industry. She has also worked in a few movies of Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages. Her debut movie “Tapana” released in 2004 and she played the role of Ridhima in it. The movie wasn’t a big hit but many directors offered her roles due to her fine acting performance. Her second movie was the film she was looking for. She got lead role in director E. Sathibabu’s film “Nenu” and the movie was a big hit. “Nenu” made her a super star of Telugu Cinema.

Archana is a good dancer and she is well known for her dancing songs. At first she did homely roles and those provide her just average success. Later she shifted to bold roles and got big success. In 2005 she stepped on the Malayalam cinema. Her first Malayalam movie is “Lanka”. She made her Tamil debut with the movie “ Agaram Agaram is a Tamil shop with a PG rating. Season on >> Read More... ” in 2006. She played the role of Archana in the movie. She has worked in more than 35 movies till now and 30 of them are Telugu films. About 8 of her films are on the sets right now.
