Koushik was born on 1st May. His full name is Koushik Babu. His father’s name is Vijaya Babu and his mother’s name is Sarada. His father is working as editor for a prestigious Telugu News Paper. His mother is working at Raj Bhavan, Hyderabad. He has one sister and her name is Srutha Kirthy. She is working as a news reader in one of the channels. Koushik has completed his B.Com at St.Mary’s Degree College, Hyderabad. His mother tongue is Telugu.

Koushik is a famous TV and film actor. He has acted in the Telugu serial Swami Ayyappa. He bagged many awards for his acting in this serial like- Prestigious Nandi Award for Best Child Artist for the year 2002, Popular Asia Net TV Award etc. He got popularity through this serial. He has acted in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam films in various roles. Apart from this, he has acted in memorable divine roles like Lord Venkateshwara, Lord Krishna, Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu. He has recently acted in the Telugu film Jagdhuru Aadishankara as Aadishankara. This film is directed by and produced by J.K.Bharavi.

On a special and exclusive invitation from the Andhra Pradesh Government, Koushik has performed the role of Sri Krishnadevaraya at an exquisite Kuchipudi-Dance Ballet at Chandragiri, Penugonda and Hyderabad.
