Karthik Raju

Karthik Raju is an Indian Actor. He is an upcoming star in the Telugu Film Industry. He belongs to a small town near Bhimavaram. Entering the industry was not very tough for Karthik as his father is an A-list producer in the Telugu Film Industry. Vizag Raju, the father of Karthik Raju, has produced loads of Telugu movies and took the responsibility of launching his son in the competitive Film Industry. Growing up in a family affiliated with the industry, Karthik nurtured the dream of becoming an actor from a very young age. He has revealed in interviews that it is absolutely thrilling to see your dreams come true and this made his experience all the more worthwhile.

Karthik also has stated that he grew up listening to stories of great personalities like ANR, NTR and much more. Even after the family background, Karthik’s father was very conscious of his son joining the industry and warned him for the same. However, after a long period of negotiating, Karthik was able to convince his father for his breakthrough. Karthik Raju prepared for his debut by enrolling for several acting workshops and practising the art in a basic level under the guidance of experienced mentors. During these workshops, his network in the industry grew as he met legends like Raghavendra Rao, who later offered him a film. However, Karthik made his debut with a flick named Tippu which was produced by his father.

Directed by Jagadish Daneti, the revenge drama was a big hit. Karthik signed three more movies before the release of the flick. Karthik has confessed that he aims to become a producer’s actor, and he likes to ensure that the producer makes money and profits from the film. Padesaave was another movie done by Karthik which helped him strengthen his foundation in the Telugu Film Industry. He explicitly tries to not stick to a single genre and hence, signs different categories of movies including a blend of action and romantic comedies. Karthik Raju has proven his skills with a short career by working with an experienced director as well as a debutant director. Both the movies did well in the box office assuring success. Karthik’s second film Padesaave was supposed to be his debut movie but got postponed due to unsaid reasons. Coming from a prominent film family, Karthik was backed by big stars like Nagarjuna, Rajamouli, and Raghavendra Rao.
