Anjan Kumar is an ex-software engineer, an independent filmmaker and a photographer. He is from Chennai, India. He worked as a software engineer in San Francisco and Seattle. He resigned his job as a software engineer and moved back to India to take care for his father who was battling Dementia. Anjan learned the art of filmmaking at the San Francisco Film School and enhances his photography skills at the Photographic Center Northwest (PCNW), Seattle. He post-graduated in Computer Science from Arizona State University. He made some short movies like Life Under the Lens, Inertial Dreams, Portraits of Care.
