Gundeti Ramesh is a well-known lyricist from the Indian entertainment industry. He predominantly works in the Telugu films. Ramesh was born on 7th November 1969 in Chamanapalli village, Karimnagar district, in Telangana. He belongs to a weaver family with his father, Venkatesham, and mother, Lakshmi. He pursued a bachelor’s degree in Arts from the Rajarajeswara Government College. With immense interest in writing, Ramesh published his first poetry anthology at eighteen. As a writer, Ramesh has written more than two hundred folk private songs on folklore and devotion. He wrote books like Jabilamma Padam, Karimnagar District Animutyalu, and Cheneta Chandrika.
In 1998, Ramesh started as a lyricist in Telugu films with the song Vendi Vennellona Ammadu and Pandipadamu Rave Gummadu from Jai Bajranga Bali. He wrote the superhit song Mayadari Maisammo from the film College in 2000. His other notable works like Gotta Gotta Chori in 2001, Sakkubai Sakkubai- You Are My Dikkuboy in 2001, Oh Baby Your Laughs in 2002, Kur Kure in 2008, and A Child Like a Chicken Piece in 2009 made him a brilliant poet and folksinger in Telangana State.
