M.S. Parthasarathy or M.S.P. Sarathi was a film editor, director, and producer from India. He was born on August 28, 1924, in Madras, British India. Parthasarathy was the son of Annapurani Ammal and M.C. Sada Gopal. His father was the headmaster of Mylapore high school. He did his schooling at Mylapore Government High School. He started his career at a very young age. He married P. Andal, and together, they had five children. He has worked on various films like Errakota Veerudu in 1973, Bhakta Kanakadasa in 1960, Ondre Kulam, Sumangali, and Vaddante Dabbu. He has worked in both the Tamil and Telugu film industries.
Parthasarathy knows five Indian languages, namely Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi, and two international languages, namely English and Sinhala. Parthasarathy is well known for his work in the movies Chandralekha in 1948, Niraparadhi in 1951, Gruhalakshmi in 1955, Vaddante Dabbu in 1954, Vanjam in 1953, and Panam Paduthum Paadu in 1953. He died on April 29, 1981, due to bad health.
