Santosh Srinivas is a young, energetic director, screenwriter, and cinematographer who work mostly in Telugu cinema. Santosh Srinivas was born in Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh) and brought up there. Santosh has four brothers and one sister. Only he joined movie others are working in some other field. He completed his secondary schooling and graduation from his hometown. From childhood, Santosh wants to work in the cinema so during his graduation time he shifted himself to Chennai so that he could get a chance to enter into the film industry. He wants to become a director but he didn’t get that response from anyone.

He started his film industry career as a cinematographer under Amma Rajasekhar and worked for nearly five movies which include Khatarnak, Takkari, and Rainbow. He has worked under many famous directors such as B.Gopala, V.V Vinayak, and Raghavendra Rao as a cinematographer. Santosh dreams were something else; to fulfill his dreams he quit his job of cinematographer and stayed in the home for around one year. During this time he was offered around nine movies to work as a cinematographer, but he refused to do so. The movie was a blockbuster which gave too much fame to Santosh Srinivas. As in everyone’s life there are some ups, and down, Santosh had also contracted with that, he planned to make a movie with Ram Pothineni with the same cast and the crew of “Kandireega” but luck was not for Santosh so that the film didn’t enter the production. He started to work on a new project, and in 2014 under the production of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha, he came back again with a movie named Rabhasa starring the veteran actor N.T.
