K Dasaradh or Kondapalli Dasaradh Kumar is a Telugu writer and director. He was born to a Telugu Brahmin family on 30th November 1971 in Khammam, Andhra Pradesh. He did his schooling from Ramakrishna Vidyalam in Khammam and graduated from Siddhareddy College, Khammam. He is called Dasi, pappu by his close friends.
He got married to Sesha Soumya on 13th November 2005. They have a daughter, named Karthika. He started his career working for a TV Media as a Screenplay and Dialog writer for four TV serials with acclaimed author and writer,
he TV series ‘Vennello Aada Pilla’ telecasted on Doordarshan, Andhra Pradesh was a commercial success. He then worked as an associate director for films as Hello I Love You, Harishchandra, Yuvaraju, Chitram,
, and Subhavela.
Through these films, he worked with prominent directors, namely, Veera Shankar, Tulasi Kumar,
, Teja and B V Ramana and had been associated since with them. His films ‘
’ and ‘Mr. Perfect’ were a big success. Santosham received the Nandi Award for Best Feature Film, Bronze. He also bagged the Southern India Cinematographers Association Award in 2002.
He was also nominated for the Best Director for his film ‘Mr. Perfect’ in Filmfare Awards South, 2011. He has his style of making a film; he takes ample of time to make a movie. Dasaradh has casted/worked with Nagarjuna Akkineni twice in Santosham and Greeku Veerudu.
