. A year after the film was released, Daneti received the Best Debut Director Award from the Vizag Fans Association and Telugu Cine Lovers Association.
The award was presented to him by HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao. Though the film failed to make it to the box office, he earned fame for his job in the film. Daneti is the founder of the J Charities, an NGO working for the underprivileged children. He had been helping the orphaned, destitute, and abandoned children in the streets.
