Indian cinematographer and painter Gnana Shekhar V. S. Born on 17th February 1979. His father was a school teacher and book lover; this made him curious who utilize their literature collection. He was an art student, arts of Vincent van Gogh and Niko Pirosmani inspired him to career in paintings. He developed an interest in photography during his graduation days.
His painting style is unique, never make use of brush and paints. He loves acrylic colour and prefers painting with thumbs. He started his career in cinematography with film Tetris, selected at the Cannes film festival. He came into limelight as an independent cinematographer for Telugu film Vedam (2010).
He featured as a cinematographer in mostly in Telugu films like Dhada(2011), Kaanche(2015), Sheeshmahal (2016) and praised for his unique painting for the silver screen, notably for Gatamiputra Satkarni (2017).
