She was born and grew up in Jamshedpur and attended Little Flower School and Loyola School for her formal education. She is presently pursuing a Masters's in Public Policy at St. Xavier's College Mumbai, living up to the traditional proverb with brains. Pragati Srivastava, a native of Jamshedpur, believes her life is a fairy tale. Pragati Srivastava, who has appeared in advertisements for Malabar Jewellers, Kalyan Jewellers, and Sunsilk most prominently, did not consider modeling or acting until last year. Instead, she spent her time in her flat doing drawings and studying for her master's degree.
