Shivakumar attended a Karnataka medium school from class 1 to 6 but then had to switch to an English medium school in the same city. The language change caused him to fail class seven. However, he did not give up and instead joined spoken English classes, worked hard, and eventually scored 85% marks. Despite his parents and relatives suggesting that he join the army, Shivakumar pursued acting. In 2017, he began his career as a model, and in 2018, he made his acting debut in the Kannada Television Industry with the show " Manasa Sarovara Manasa Sarovara is a Kannada Television serial whi >> Read More... " on Udaya TV. He played the role of Preetham in this show and later in 2021, appeared in the Telugu TV show "Intiki Deepam Illalu" where he played the lead role of Manohar.
