Kovai Desingu Raja is a famous actor who has worked in many small screen serials. His most well-known role was; 'Aasaan' in the popular Tamil soap opera 'Vani Rani' aired on Sun TV. He was born in Palladam, Coimbatore. Kovai Desingu passed away on 17th February 2018 due to an unexpected heart attack. As it turns out, the actor had been to the Sabarimala Ayyappan temple two days prior and stayed at a place known as Saranguthi during that time. Kovai Desingu was rushed to the hospital but died on his way there. His body was brought back to his hometown in Coimbatore for his last rites.
