Nithyananda Paramahamsa is a well-known spiritual leader from Tamil Nadu. He was born on 1 January 1978 in Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu. His father is Arunachalam, and his mother is Lokanayaki. Yogiraj Yogananda Puri noticed his spiritual power at the age of three, and he came to public life at 24 by the name Nithyananda. In 2003, he founded his trust named Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam, which owns temples, gurukuls, and ashrams in many countries.
His organization is in over 50 nations and has 10 million followers. He was the chairman of the Hindu University of America based in Florida. He was also among the 100 Most Spiritually Influential Living People by Watkins Mind Body Spirit magazine 2012. In 2013, Panchayati Mahanirvani Akhara honored him with the title Mahamandleshwar. He was also appointed as the 293rd pontiff of Madurai Adheenam.
Nithyananda has superpowers like Kundalini and Third Eye Awakening, with which he has cured 82 students from different stages of blindness in the Vastrapur area of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He and his followers can perform activities like extrasensory perception and materialization, body scanning, distance vision, and the ability to find lost objects. In 2019, he claimed to own his private island Hindu Nation called Kailaasa near Trinidad and Tobago. Kailaasa is a nation without borders.
