John Dhanraj is an Indian television host born in Chennai, India. He completed his degree in Law at the Madras Law College, Chennai. Dhanraj began working in the Television Industry in the year 1992 with show 'Kavithai Kelungal' on DD Podhigai. 'Kavithai Kelungal was a show based on composing on the spot poems which was very popular.
He later went on hosting a social awareness program titled 'Kaara Saram.' Dhanraj has also written songs for several movies, some of which include 'Manadhil our maargazhi' (Tamil) and 'Lillies of March' (Malayalam). He has also received Edison's Awards, India for the best anchor for the show 'Kaara Saram.
