Anand Govindasamy, born on 28 November 1993 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, better known as Anand G, is a film editing professional working in the Tamil Industry. His hometown is Sriperumbudur. His father is Mr.A.V. Govindasamy,and his mother is Mrs. G. Geetha. He has a brother whose name is G. Madhan. Anand completed his graduation in Computer Science Engineering from Panimalar Engineering College.
The art of film editing is something that he learned from ace film editor B. Lenin at BOFTA Film Institute, and he got the opportunity to do several projects under his guidance. He was awarded a gold medal for best editing at BOFTA (2015-2016). He made his editing debut in the web series Nila Nila Odi Vaa (2018), directed by
