Nanditha Ramesh is a costume designer. She was born in Coimbatore. She studied in GRG and PGRG Krishnammal Girls Higher Secondary School. She then went to Chennai where she graduated with a BSC and MBA degrees. She is married. She began working a corporate job, but soon realized that she did not enjoy this line of work. She gained interest in fashion when she started interning with her friend and designer, Rehana. After this, she took a six month break. Then started her design studio, Turquoise. It is a clothing store which specializes in bridal outfits. She did a three month design course in the London College of Fashion. After coming back, Nanditha started Merasal, a designer label. She sold clothes online for two years before finally opening her first flagship store in Alwarpet. Merasal specializes in clothing that are ready to wear. Her debut collection for Merasal was named Varanam Aayiram.
