Nabarun Bose

Nabarun Bose is an award-winning singer, music producer cum director. He is also a composer and keyboardist. He was born on 30 December 1988. His mother has a musical career - a classical vocalist in India. Nabarun Bose is from Kolkata, West Bengal. He first schooled at Patha Bhavan and proceeded to the Presidency College, Kolkata - where he earned his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in English literature.

Nabarun Bose passionately identifies with 'Music' - he is acknowledged across various musical bands and in the film industry for his musical career. His achievements and notable milestones compensate for his diligence in Music - passionately interested in music from age 17 - he has been consciously working towards his music career since college. He played for different bands, had studio sessions with various music directors, and quit his job as a part-time professor at Kishore Bharati Bhagini Nivedita College to pursue his passion.

He was the music producer of Piku - 2015, Pink - 2016, Chotushkone, and Highway, amongst others. He composed songs for several films, web and TV series, including - Tarokar Mrityu - 2023, Doctor Bakshi - 2023, Hare Krishna - a short 2021 movie, Aloukik Abhijaan - 2021, and Damayanti - 2020, among others. Since Nabarun Bose started his professional musical career journey with, 'The Colours,' a 'Hindi pop-rock band' in 2010, he has been thriving. He joined Anupam Roy in 2011, began his professional career as a music producer and arranger in 2013, and music director in 2015. He won the Song Producer of the Year Award, Mirchi Music Award Bangla 2018, and the WBFJA Best Music Director Award in 2021.
