The series follows the story of a group of NRI Bengalis, both from India and Bangladesh, who came together to organize and celebrate Durga Puja. However, a terrorist group disrupts the event.

The series opens with a group of young Bengalis, including Arup, Kabir, and Ananya (Ananya Chatterjee),  living in London. They plan to return to Kolkata for Durga Puja, a major religious festival celebrated by Bengalis around the world. Arup is a successful businessman married to an Englishwoman, Sarah. Kabir is a struggling artist trying to make a name for himself in London. Ananya is a young woman who is trying to find her place in the world. The three friends arrive in Kolkata and are reunited with their families and friends. They start making preparations for Durga Puja, which is a time for celebration and religious observance.

However, their plans are disrupted when a terrorist group, led by Anwar, threatens to attack the Durga Puja celebrations. Anwar is a Bengali extremist who believes that Durga Puja is a symbol of Hindu oppression. Arup, Kabir, and Ananya must join forces to stop Anwar and his terrorist group from carrying out their attack. The series is a suspenseful and action-packed thriller that exploring themes of terrorism, religious extremism, and cultural identity. The series is well-acted and well-directed, providing a glimpse into the lives of Bengalis living in the United Kingdom and India.
