Shalu Menon is a Malayalam actress, who is known for her acting and dance skills. She hails from Changanaserry, Kerala. Shalu started to learn to dance from her school days. She became a dance performed from the age of five under the guidance of her grandfather “Sri Tripunithura Aravindakasha Menon “who was a famous dancer. Shalu practiced dance further under the guidance of the most eminent dance guru Regatta Girija. She later studied dance under the supervision of many famous dance teachers. 
Shalu was also a disciple of the most popular dancer “Padma Subrahmanyam” who is an Indian classical dancer, scholar, researcher, music composer, choreographer and a lot more prominent roles in the field of dance. After her studies, Shalu turned to dancing and her fame made her first entry into the film and television industry.  
She has also performed in many stage shows conducted in USA, Oman, Singapore, Malaysia and many other foreign countries. She is the principal of the dance school “Jayakerala School of performing arts which was founded by her grandfather in 1959. The schools has its various branches in different places of Kerala. Her disciples actively participate in inter-college competitions and in other stage shows. Shalu Menon has been active in the Television industry for more than ten years. Some of her movies are “British Market”, “Ennum Sambhavami Yuge Yuge”, “Grand Mother”, “Parinaamam”, “Kissaan”, “ Indrajith” and “Ithu Paathiraamanal”.

Neena Kurup is a Malayalam film and Television actress who was born on May 3, 1973, in Calicut. She completed her schooling in St. Joseph Anglo Indian School and her graduation from Providence women’s college. Neena is married to Sunil Kumar is an exporter and they settled in Kochi.  She entered into the Malayalam film industry through the 1986 movie “Gandhinagar 2nd Street” starring the megastar Mohanlal and Karthika. The film was remade in Tamil which was named “Annanagar Mudhal Theru” and in Telugu as “Gandhinagar Rendo Veedhi”. Neena played a very small in the movie. Her first movie as a heroine was “Sreedharante Onnam Thirumurivu” which was directed by Sathyan Anthikad and released in 1987. Sathyan Anthikad is an Indian movie director, lyricist, and screenwriter who is known for taking family oriented movies.  Neena played the character named “Aswathy” who is the cousin of the hero “Sreedharan”, the character played by Mammootty. Aswathy is an educated girl who is rude and doesn’t like her relatives. The character was well carried off by Neena’s acting skills though she was a newcomer. She has acted in a few Tamil and Telugu movies also. She did more than 15 films in Malayalam in which her character in the movie “Punjabi House” was clicked. It was a musical comedy movie in Malayalam which was released in the year 1998.  Neena has also anchored a few shows, Merchants of India in Surya TV, VaalKannadi in Asianet and Dubai Shopping Festival. Some of her serials are Chakravakam (which was her debut series), Aayirathil Oruval, Sreekrishnan and a few more.
