After beginning his career through the Malayalam television industry, Shibu Laban has acted in many Malayalam films.He graduated from Vtm Nss College, Dhanuvachapuram, in 2003. In 2013, he bagged a supporting role in a Malayalam comedy caper film, Hotel California. He featured on a Malayalam soap opera, Sthreedhanam, meaning Dowry, in which he played the role of Chandrahasanan. It aired on Asianet from 2012 to 2014. In 2017, he appeared on a Malayalam TV serial, Chandanamazha. In the same year, he also acted in the films, such as Cross Road and Bobby. Shibu, along with his co-actors, attended an Indian celebrity talk show, Onnum Onnum Moonu, hosted by singer Rimy Tomy on Mazhavil Manorama, in 2018, to promote their comedy show, Thakkar Comedy. He started his journey as a television actor and became to be one of the most renowned comedy actors in the Malayalam industry.Â
