She excels in various aspects of her genre, from the profound Ragam-Tanam-Pallavi to the soul-stirring Bhajan. During her career spanning 15 years, she has performed extensively both in India and abroad, including notable destinations such as the United States of America, Singapore, the United Kingdom, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Australia, and New Zealand. Also she has been successfully operating her own music school called Sriranjani's Tapasya. It's worth mentioning that she is the daughter and disciple of the renowned musician Sri Neyveli Santhanagopalan. Even at a young age, Sriranjani displayed her talent by receiving the Ananda Vikatan Mazhalai Medaigal award. She was also declared the winner of the ALL INDIA RADIO competition (Vocal, Carnatic Music) in 2008.
In 2011, she was bestowed with the title Sathya Gana Kokila Sundaram by the Bharatanjali Trust. Sriranjani has made frequent appearances on television channels such as Jaya TV (Margazhi Mahotsavam), Vijay TV, Sun TV, Makkal TV, Vasanth TV, Podhigai, Zee TV, and Sankara TV, showcasing her talent to a wider audience. She has achieved remarkable milestones and received numerous accolades throughout her career. She holds the prestigious A grade artiste title from the All India Radio and has been recognized as the Outstanding Vocalist and Best Vocalist by the esteemed Madras Music Academy multiple times, specifically in the years 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, and 2019. In 2023, she was honored with the Outstanding Lecture Demonstration award from the Madras Music Academy. Furthermore, she has been bestowed with the Yuva Purandara Award by the Indira Nagar Sangeetha Sabha in Bangalore in 2018. Her involvement in conducting the esteemed Children's Carnatic Choir for the Bhoomija Foundation for Performing Arts in 2017 showcases her dedication to nurturing young talent.
The list of her accomplishments continues, as she received the esteemed Sangeetha Sthree Mani title from Kalalaya, San Jose as part of the Shastriya Sangeetha Puraskar in 2016, and the Shanmukha Sangeetha Shiromani award from Shanmukhananda, Mumbai in December 2015. In 2008, she was awarded the ITC Sangeeth Research Academy Scholarship by the Government of India. Sriranjani also demonstrated her exceptional talent by winning consecutive concert prizes for three years at The Music Academy, Madras. These prizes include the Best Vocalist award in 2012, the Best Concert award in 2013, and another Best Vocalist award in 2014.
Her contributions have been recognized by several esteemed organizations and institutions. In 2012, she received four awards, including the M.S. Subbulakshmi award from Narada Gana Sabha, Yuva Kala Bharati from Bharat Kalachar, the D.K.Pattammal award from Karthik Fine Arts, and the M.L.Vasanthakumari award from Parthasarathy Swami Sabha. She was recently honored by the Lion's Club of Madras in the Isai category of Iyal, Isai, Natakam awards, alongside Sri. Koothapiran (Natakam) and Smt. Krishnakumari Narendran (Iyal) in 2014.
