Chayan Sarkar

Charan Sarkar was born in 1987 in Matabhanga, Cooch Behar, West Bengal, India. He obtained his Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Jadavpur from IIT Bombay, respectively, in 2009 and 2011 and Ph.D. Degree in 2016 from the Delft University of Technology, The Netherlandsis a postdoctoral scholar with Six Swedish ICT in Sweden. Since December 2016, he has been a scientist with TCS Research and Innovation.

He is part of TCS Research's embedded systems and robotics research field. His research interests include the Internet of Things, Embedded Systems, Multi-Robot Systems, and Human-Robot Interactions. He is part of the organizing committee of IEEE ANTS'17 & '18, AIOTAS '17 & '18, COMNETIOT '19, and DSFES19, serving as a reviewer for various conferences and magazines. Chayan Sarkar is a Scientist in TCS Research and Innovation and currently working in Kolkata Lab.

He is a part of the embedded systems and robotics group, and my main research is multi-robot systems, human-robot interaction, and internet-of-things. Before that, He worked briefly as a researcher at Six Swedish ICT, Sweden. He received my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Jadavpur University in 2009 and IIT Bombay in 2011. he completed his Ph.D. in 2016 at the Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands.
