Nikita Thomas

Miss South India 2019, Nikita Thomas was born and brought up in Kochi. She lived in one of the city's finest residential locations, Panampilly Nagar, and did her schooling at The Choice School. In 2019 she pursued Bachelor of Business Administration in Rajagiri, the same year as the Miss South India competition. Ever since she was a young child, she wished to participate in fashion competitions and pageants, especially Miss Kerela. However, she decided to walk down the ramp only after she turns 19. After she turned 19, she sent her pictures for Miss Kerala 2018 and landed in the final six, but unfortunately did not win. Not winning the pageant taught her to learn from failures and emerge even better.

She owned up her mistakes and realized that nobody is perfect. She considers her mother, Anitha Thomas, to be her biggest motivator and constant support system. Anitha, a businesswoman in seafood trading by profession, is also known for playing the principal of St. Teresa’s College in the movie Poomaram. Nikita takes after her mother, and beauty with intelligence flows in the Thomas Genes.
