Saajan Vasudev is a professional film editor in South India. He has offered his services in a lot of movies in the Malayalam film industry. Saajan Vasudev is best known for his works in the projects Classmates, Kala Pani, Pathemari, Yoddha and many more, all of them from Malayalam. Saajan Vasudev was born and brought up in Kerala, India. He got his school education from St. Peter's High School which is located in the district of Changanacherry in Kerala, India. Saajan Vasudev then joined the college for his higher studies at Dev Matha College and University which is located in Kottayam in Kerala. Saajan Vasudev has edited more than forty films in the Mollywood industry. He first entered the cinema field as a film editor in the year 2007. Saajan Vasudev worked as a film editor with a company called Lal Media Arts.
He was part of the crew for a few years after which he quit. Saajan Vasudev then got a chance to work in a film on his own. The debut project of Saajan Vasudev is the movie Kangaroo, a Malayalam film directed by film director Raj Babu and it has actors
, Jayasurya and many others in lead roles. This comedy, drama film did not do well at the box office and it got released in the year 2007 in December. Though the film was not a success, it helped people to find Saajan Vasudev, the editor. He soon received many offers of movies to edit. His next project was for the movie Shakespeare M. A. Malayalam which got released in the big screens in the year 2008.
The number of offers received by Saajan Vasudev kept increasing by the year. In the year 2009, he worked on three film sin Malayalam namely

In the year 2010, Saajan Vasudev got lucky with work from six different movies namely Aagathan, Alexander the Great, Mummy & Me, Tournament, Oridathoru Postman and In Ghost House Inn. Saajan Vasudev was also the editor of the movie Pretham and its sequel Pretham 2 which is currently in its pre-production stage.
