Remya Aravind is a prominent director and filmmaker from India. She was born on May 15, in Thrissur, Kerala. She lives in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Remya Aravind did his primary education and schooling in Abu Dhabi and attended Abu Dhabi Indian School. However, she attended Prajyoti Niketan College, Pudukad and The University of Pune, Pune (India), for her college education. She has done a Bachelor’s in Arts with English and a Master’s in Arts with communication studies. Previously she was employed at Aditya Birla Minacs. However, she had a keen interest in the South Indian Film industry so she switched her career. Remya Aravind started her career in the entertainment industry as an assistant director. She debuted as a director with the movie Oru Police Kaarante Maranam, starring talented actress Urvasi as the main lead. Remya Aravind has written and directed this movie.
