Mo Wan-il

Mo Wan Il was born on 23^rd September 1976 in South Korea. He is a TV director cum producer. In 2004, Mo started his career as an assistant director in My Lovely Family, scripted by Seo Young Myung. In 2005, he worked in the series "Resurrection" directed by Park Chan Hong and Jun Chang Geun. In 2006, he assisted Hwang In Hyuk and Ki Min-Soo for the series Goodbye, Solo. In 2010, he debuted as the director with the series, Smile, Dong Hae. Kim Myung Wook is the co-director. Ji Chang Wook, Do Ji Won, Park Jung Ah, Oh Ji Eun, and Lee Jang Woo played the lead roles. The next year, he directed Identical Criminals, a TV movie featuring Lee Ji Hoon, Lee Sung Min, Seo Hyun Chul, and Lee Hee Joon in lead roles. In the same year, he directed Duet, a TV movie for KBS 2. Shim Yi Young, Jung In Seo, and Jeon Sung-Hwan were seen in the main roles. In 2012, he directed Dream high 2 in association with Lee Eung Bok. Kang So Ra, Jung Jin Woon, Park Ji Yeon, and JB played the lead roles. The same year, he debuted as a producer with Big, directed by Ji Byung Hyun and Kim Seong Yoon.

In 2013, he produced the series You Are The Best, directed by Yoon Sung Shik. The same year, he directed a TV movie, Sirius, with four episodes. It was telecast on KBS 2. Seo Joon Young and Park Hyung Shik played the lead roles. In 2014, he produced the super hit series “Healer.” Lee Jung Sub and Kim Jin Woo directed the series with Ji Chang Wook and Park Min Young in the main roles. In 2016, Mo Wan directed A Beautiful Mind. Lee Jae Hoon co-directed it. The 14-episode series was telecast on KBS 2. Jang Hyuk, Park So Dam, and Yoon Hyun Min were seen in the lead roles.
